Humanist Ceremonies
AYRSHIRE AND SCOTLAND
Celebrate People

Your Wedding, Your Day, Your Way.

We believe in YOU!  We believe that YOU two know what is right and good for YOU two!

Your humanist wedding should be as unique as you are!  A humanist wedding in Scotland gives you absolute freedom and complete personalisation from the location to the 'I do!'

We are based in Ayrshire but travel throughout Scotland and beyond.  Ceremonies in Fremch and Spanish are a delight.

We conduct marriages, funerals, namings, memorials and other humanist celebrant ceremonies.

Humanist means this is about everything that unites us - and what more unites us than your love in that moment!

Spiritual care simply means your ceremony reflects whatever gives your life meaning and value - different for each person!

Susan and Gerrie Douglas-Scott are two of Scotland's most experienced and popular Humanist Celebrants and have conducted 1000s of legal humanist marriages across Scotland.  Whether it is Gerrie or Susan who is your celebrant, you can relax knowing that your ceremony will be everything you have hoped for.  Working closely with each couple, every ceremony is packed full of personality, love, smiles and a few laughs and tears, all in the right place!

We founded Celebrate People with 15 celebrants in Scotland, England and Eire.  All of us share the same values of warmth, kindness, caring, equality and compassion and love for the earth.  All our celebrants are fully insured, PVG checked, reviewed and take part in Professional Development.

IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU TWO

WEDDINGS IN SCOTLAND, AS UNIQUE AS YOU ARE
Ayrshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Renfrewshire, Lanarkshire, Lothian, Borders, Dumfries, Dublin, England

"Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts. The ceremony was so personal to us with a touch of humour.. You guided us so much in the preparation of the ceremony..  I loved that you added a wee surprise for us by looking up the Braveheart vows for us. My gran was an extremely proud Scot and that was one of her favourite films so it felt like a part of her was there with me."

"Thanks so much once again for a brilliant humanist ceremony! Everyone thought it was the best wedding they had been to."

"We had a perfect day!! It was everything we had hoped for - relaxed, fun and plenty of laughter!! All our friends have commented on how personal and unique our ceremony was and how it was the most relaxed wedding they've ever been to. I think you definitely have to take the credit for that. A humanist ceremony comes highly recommended!"

Thank you so much for everything you did for us Susan, and for the memories you helped us to create. I can't begin to tell you how precious and valuable they are to us.

It was such a joy and an honour to have you perform our ceremony and we really appreciate the time you took to get to know us so that the ceremony felt so personal and full of love and compassion. ..we may have inspired some of our guests to take the plunge and get married, now they have seen how full of love and celebration a marriage ceremony can be!
